Booster Launch Video

This is a video of a BOOSTER launch. Notice how I emphasized booster. This is not the world record attempt rocket! It's a booster that drops away from the main rocket - that's why its altitude is so low. However, it should give you a good idea of what a rocket launch should look like. Please note that this rocket was also launched at a relatively low pressure, and there was much more potential altitude. Anyhow, enjoy!

  1. I see the rocket does well for some distance???
What type of rocket would you like to build??
Compound- Dual fuel chambers liht at diffrent times provided farther distance probably our best choice.
Complex- 2 stages go off. One ignition and at another time, the back beaks off and a secondary fuel source ignites. -VERY HARD TO DO!!!
or Single- On huge fuel source aimed to provide an explosive boost and let momentum work- Good until weight from fuel slows it down. Only good for a certain distance.

HOW DO YOU MAKE THE WATER REACT FOR PREPULSION?
did you compress it??- If so how???
    reactive alkali metals?- Very Expensive!!!
special compunds or additives to make it react??- mediumly expensive

  2. Hey Palani,
Propulsion is provided with a compressor. Compressed air and water - simple and safe.
